The free two-day virtual event for independent creators streams on Twitch April 28th & 29th
UnitedMasters, the leading platform for independent artists, has revealed the official programming for their third SelectCon – a free two day virtual conference for creators – on April 28th and 29th streaming on Twitch. Bringing together some of the biggest players in the worlds of music, tech, sports, and social justice, the conference’s programming will educate and empower attendees to take control of their future.
SelectCon 003 builds on the success of the two inaugural 2020 conferences which drew in over 1.6 million online attendees. The conference will feature performances by UnitedMasters’ rising stars and panels with industry power players including: Pharrell Williams, 21 Savage, A$AP Ferg, Apple Music’s Ebro Darden, Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, Mike Dean, Troy Millings and Rashad Bilal of Earn Your Leisure, SinceThe80s label founders Kei Henderson, Barry “Hefner” Johnson and Zekiel Nicholson, managers for marquee acts such as G Eazy, Khalid, Gucci Mane and for up-and-coming artists Pooh Shiesty and Coi Leray, along with executives from Complex, ESPN, SoundCloud, Twitch, VEVO, YouTube, and more.

SelectCon was launched in 2020 in the midst of the global pandemic to provide independent creators with resources and tools to aid them in taking ownership of every aspect of their careers the same way UnitedMasters enables them to own 100% of their music.
SelectCon 003’s panels cover multiple topics, standout moments will range from Atlanta’s Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms and 21 Savage in a powerful conversation about how music and activism converge and how artists can create a framework for a seamless presence in those two spaces while A$AP Ferg and the execs who make deals happen at Hypebeast and Reebok will get together to explain the strategy behind attracting the right brand partners.
The conference will also feature Steve Stoute in fireside chats with multi-talented entrepreneur and artist Pharrell Williams breaking down the vital cultural impact of hip hop and a separate chat with Tobe Nwigwe on independence, entrepreneurship, and NFTs.
