Over one million fans attended the North American run
Global superstar Post Malone brought the North American leg of his blockbuster Post Malone Presents: The Big Ass Stadium Tour to a close with a highly anticipated finale performance at San Francisco’s Oracle Park. In a surprise moment during Post’s set, tourmate Jelly Roll took the stage to lead a crowd of over 35,000 fans in an early “Happy Birthday” sing-along for Post, who turned 30 on July 4th, and joined for a duet of “Losers.”
“Whenever you book a tour like this, you think about who’s gonna come on stage and sing every night with you. Ladies and gentlemen, the label sent me a long, long, long list of names. I knew in the bottom of my heart there was only one motherfucker I wanted to do this with,” Malone shared as Jelly walked back on the stage. “And I learned as of a couple of days ago we get to go out and do this shit next fucking summer too, ladies and gentlemen.”
Following a warm embrace, Post continued to praise Jelly.
“There’s only one motherfucker that I’d ever want to take on my first stadiums. And not only is this man one of the talented motherfucker I’ve had the opportunity of knowing. Not only one of the kindest motherfuckers I’ve ever had the opportunity of knowing. And the most generous and wisest. Ladies and gentlemen, he’s just a great fucker man and I can’t even put it into words,” he adds.
The North American leg, marking Post’s best-selling and highest-attended tour of all time, made headline stops at some of the most iconic stadiums in the U.S. and grossed over $170,000,000 across all shows. Post also broke records for highest highest-grossing single-day event in Idaho history.
The rapper-turned-country star was joined throughout the run by special guest Jelly Roll. Each stadium was turned into the ultimate rodeo with Post and Jelly’s unique production design, including several moments of pyro, incredible stage presence, and a diverse catalog of music. Various stops on the tour were supported by breakout talents Sierra Ferrell, Wyatt Flores, and Chandler Walters.
With the North American leg wrapped, Post will now take his stadium tour overseas, with 11 shows scheduled across major venues in Europe and the UK, marking his first-ever stadium performances in the region. The international leg with Jelly Roll promises the same massive production and immersive fan experience, marking a new milestone in his global touring career.
Produced by Live Nation, the next leg of Post Malone Presents: The Big Ass World Tour kicks off in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, before continuing through cities including Berlin, Milan, and London, and more. The tour concludes in Lisbon on September 14th.
