Post Malone hosting Gaming for Love charity streams

Four Twitch streams will be held in July

Before hitting the road on a 38-show arena tour Post Malone will be giving back in a very special way, Posty is putting on a series of Gaming For Love charity streams on Twitch. For these special charity streams, Posty and friends will be playing Respawn Entertainment’s Apex Legends, who will be donating $10,000 to each stream. The first stream kicks off on Monday, July 18th at 9 pm ET/6 pm PST for six hours with additional six-hour streams scheduled for July 20th, 22nd, and 24th, and all at 9 pm ET/6 pm PT. As he plays, Malone will raise money to support different leading non-profits Human Rights Watch on July 18th, Project HOPE on July 20th, United Way on July 22nd, and The Trevor Project on July 24, as viewers will have the opportunity to donate via fundraising platform Tiltify.

Additionally, Malone recently became a co-owner of professional esports organization OpTic Gaming. On the last day of the event on July 24th, he will be joined by pro OpTic Apex Legends players Knoqd, SkittleCakes and dooplex, among other special guests.

In other big news, the GRAMMY Award-nominated 3x Diamond-certified artist just announced five additional dates for the just announced Twelve Carat Tour, an extensive 38-show outing across North America with special guest Roddy Ricch. Malone has added additional shows in Toronto, Boston, New York and Los Angeles. Produced by Live Nation, the tour kicks off on September 10th at CHI Health Center in Omaha, NE making stops in Boston, Philadelphia, New York, Dallas, Atlanta, Vancouver and more before wrapping up in Los Angeles, CA at Crypto.com Arena on November 16th.

Malone recently released his anxiously awaited fourth full-length and one of the most anticipated albums of 2022, Twelve Carat Toothache via Mercury Records/Republic Records. The record boasts appearances from an all-star cast of guests, including Doja Cat, The Weeknd, Roddy Ricch, Fleet Foxes, Gunna, and The Kid Laroi. Musically, Malone collaborated with longtime cohorts such as producers and co-writers Louis Bell, Billy Walsh, and Andrew Watt as well as Omer Fedi and more. The album, released just over a month ago, has already garnered over a billion streams.
