Priscilla Block scores first RIAA Platinum certification

Block was honored at Nashville show

One of country music’s hottest new acts, Priscilla Block, has received her first RIAA Platinum certification for her viral hit song, “Just About Over You.” Block was presented with her plaque during her recent sold out show at the famed Nashville Palace. Her show at Nashville Palace marked the first time a female artist has ever sold-out the venue.

Block is one of Country music’s most exciting new artists who has been taking the music world by storm since her now RIAA Platinum-certified “Just About Over You” captured audiences via TikTok. Since then, her undeniable voice and candid lyrics have cultivated a loyal fanbase and her debut album, Welcome to the Block Party via Mercury Nashville, has garnered her an ACM Award Nomination for New Female Artist of the Year, quickly followed by another nomination for Breakthrough Video of the Year at the 2022 CMT Awards.

Recently, Block kicked-off the fall run of her wildly successful Welcome to the Block Party Tour. Her opening weekend consisted of multiple sold out shows and over 4,000 tickets sold. Block can also be seen on select dates opening for country music superstar Shania Twain on her Shania Twain: Queen Of Me Tour in 2023.

Fans can hear Block on her recently released duet with country superstar, Justin Moore. “You, Me, And Whiskey” is currently impacting country radio and available on all streaming platforms.

Announced this week, Block will be appearing at next year’s Two Step Inn festival in Georgetown, TX. Block is joining a roster of country music heavy-hitters such as Tyler Childers, Zach Bryan, Mavis Staples, Tanya Tucker and more.
