The fresh, joyful song is featured in Hallmark’s new holiday film, Christmas on Duty
Country hitmaker RaeLynn is unwrapping even more Christmas cheer this season with “Let The Holiday Come On In,” a bright, joyful new track out via The Valory Music Co. in partnership with Red Van Records/Jonas Group Entertainment. The uptempo song bursts of bells, warmth and wide-eyed holiday spirit and is featured in the new Hallmark Channel film Christmas On Duty, airing now.
Brimming with nostalgic sparkle and a big, breezy chorus, “Let The Holiday Come On In” joins the singer’s festive six-track Jingle Jangle Rock EP, adding a fresh layer of celebration to her growing holiday catalog.
“Christmas has always felt magical to me, and this song captures that feeling of joy the moment the season sets in,” shares RaeLynn. “When Hallmark chose it for Christmas On Duty, it felt like the perfect home, especially since my husband served in the Army. This song is warm, fun and full of heart. I’m so excited to add this to my EP.”
Featured in Christmas On Duty, the song soundtracks a story of two rival Marine Corps officers forced to work together on Christmas Eve. After an argument at a base holiday party puts them on punishment duty, a surprise snowstorm leaves the base without presents for local kids — pushing them to team up, save Christmas, and maybe even spark a little romance.
Written by RaeLynn, along with Bobby Campbell and Amy Stroup, “Let The Holiday Come On In” channels the classic coziness of holiday traditions — hot chocolate by the fire, jingling bells, glowing tree lights — all delivered with RaeLynn’s signature charm and unmistakable sass.
