Band wraps 2022 dates in New York City

Rage Against the Machine has canceled the upcoming European leg of its Public Service Announcement Tour. The band shares that all 13 dates for August and September have been canceled due to an undisclosed medical issue with vocalist Zack de la Rocha.

“Per medical guidance, Zack de la Rocha has been advised that the August and September 2022 UK and European leg of the Rage Against the Machine tour cannot proceed. It is with great disappointment that we announce this cancellation,” the write on social media.

“Rage Against the Machine will be finishing their run at Madison Square Garden on August 11, 12 & 14 and then Zack must return home for rest and rehabilitation. The flights, travel time, and rigorous schedule in the UK and Europe are simply too much of a risk for a complete recovery.

“We are so sorry to all of our fans who have waited years to see us and hope to Rage again soon.”

All ticket holders should contact their point of purchase for refunds.

De la Rocha injured his leg on July 11th and has been sitting on stage during the tour. Rage is currently on the Public Service Announcement Tour, which kicked off July 9th in East Troy, WI. The long-delayed trek was postponed due to the pandemic.

The trek is scheduled to resume in February 2023 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Dates are scheduled through April with a two night stand in Detroit.
