LaMontagne teams with Sierra Ferrell ahead of their forthcoming tour

Grammy Award winning artist Ray LaMontagne has just released a new version of his song “I Was Born To Love You” featuring Sierra Ferrell on his newly created Liula Records. The song is originally from his eighth studio album Monovision, released June 2020 via RCA Records and is shipping to AAA radio. It’s accompanied by a visualizer. Ferrell also joins LaMontagne this spring as support on his Live Nation produced 2022 The Monovision Tour. LaMontagne and his trio hit the road this spring to perform live for the first time the songs from Monovision as well as hits from across his catalog.

Monovision includes breakout songs such as “I Was Born To Love You” and the No. 1 AAA radio single “Strong Enough.” The 10-track album sees LaMontagne not only writing and producing the album once again but also includes added duties of engineering as well as performing all the instruments for the tracks.

With her spellbinding voice and time-bending sensibilities, Ferrell makes music that’s as fantastically vagabond as the artist herself. Growing up in small-town West Virginia, the singer/songwriter/multi- instrumentalist left home in her early 20s to journey across the country with a troupe of nomadic musicians, playing everywhere from truck stops to alleyways to freight-train boxcars speeding down the railroad tracks. After years of living in her van and busking on the streets of New Orleans and Seattle, she moved to Nashville and landed a deal with Rounder Records on the strength of her magnetic live show.
