Her new book will be released on the same day

The Redhead takes Manhattan on October 10th as Reba McEntire celebrates her upcoming Not That Fancy book and album companion with an appearance at New York City’s Town Hall. The multi-faceted superstar will speak about her upcoming book and perform in the historic theater for the first time.

Reba’s new book Not That Fancy: Simple Lessons on Living, Loving, Eating, and Dusting Off Your Boots is an enchanting collection of funny, poignant, and deeply personal stories, photos, tips, and recipes from Reba McEntire. The book will released on October 10th via Harper Celebrate.

The new book appearance was announced the same day Reba celebrates the 40th anniversary of Behind The Scene, released in 1983, and the 46th anniversary of her debut album, Reba McEntire, released in 1977.

Not That Fancy includes over 50 recipes — desserts, meats, sides, and cocktails — from Reba’s family traditions and her newly opened restaurant Reba’s Place in Atoka, Oklahoma; never-before-seen photographs and never-before-told stories from Reba’s personal and professional life, including ranching with her Daddy, pranks with Brooks and Dunn, falling in love over a plate of tater tots; and simple, not-that-fancy lifestyle tips, such as how to achieve Reba’s signature hairstyle, design a down-to-earth date night, play a mean game of cards.

Tickets start at $50 and include a complimentary copy of the book, courtesy of Barnes & Noble. Members of Reba’s mailing list get presale access starting tomorrow (Wed, Aug 16th) at noon ET. The general on sale starts Friday, August 18th at noon ET via Ticketmaster.

A few weeks later on November 5th, Reba will be the subject of a one-night-only special event, Not That Fancy: An Evening with Reba and Friends, at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. Her Reba co-star and friend Melissa Peterman will host the even which will be an evening of stories with Reba at the Mother Church of Country Music.

In conjunction with the book, Reba will release an accompanying album, also titled Not That Fancy, on CD and 2 LP on October 6th via Universal Nashville. The global superstar has teamed up with Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb to record stripped-down versions of some of her most iconic songs including the new single, “Seven Minutes in Heaven,” that she premiered at her Spotify House performance during CMA Fest.

In April, Reba headlined Madison Square Garden for the first time with a sold out performance. Veeps gave fans a chance relive that special concert over the weekend as they livestreamed the event globally.

After being a Mega Mentor on NBC’s The Voice for season 23 during the spring, McEntire is making her coaching debut in season 24 this fall, replacing longtime coach Blake Shelton. McEntire will also return as coach for season 25 set to premiere next spring.
