In 1977 five working class boys from England had ambitions to make money playing rock and roll. Now celebrating their 45th anniversary since the band started Def Leppard has become one of the biggest bands in history with more than 100 million records sold. Just a year before Def Leppard formed, a little band from Texas set off on a tour so ambitious it would take them to the brink of destruction. The ZZ Top World Wide Texas Tour included live buffalo, longhorn cattle, snakes and vultures to bring a little bit of Texas wherever they went but after 15 months the band was burned out and called it quits only to come storming back in epic fashion. On Sunday, April 10th at 9 pm ET/6 pm PT, ZZ Top: Breaking the Band presents the story of one of the most iconic bands in history as told by their producer and tour manager who were there from the start.

They were a band of New Jersey rockers who were fun, talented and indulged in the fruits if their fame but they were not equals. They had a leader with an iron grip and for years it made the band Bon Jovi a massive success but it’s ultimately what tore them apart. On Sunday, April 17th, Bon Jovi: Breaking the Band at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT tells the story of the band with the motto “we live nowhere and play everywhere” until the relentless pursuit of success jeopardized their future.
