“Bag Bad Back” is available now
Kicking off the new year with bold energy and ambition, Riize embarks on their 2025 journey as dream seekers, marking a new chapter of growth, purpose, and creative evolution. The group celebrates this milestone with the release of their latest music video, “Bag Bad Back,” the first single from their upcoming debut full-length album, Odyssey, set for release on May 19th via SM Entertainment/RCA Records.
“Bag Bad Back” is a hip-hop anthem with heavy bass, a groovy drum beat, and an infectious hook. The blend of whispering and shouting vocal techniques adds a unique twist. Just as everyone carries something important in their bag, the lyrics symbolize how Riize’s “bag” is filled with their ambition to grow and shine as artists. The song perfectly captures the group’s united vision as “one team.”
The performance for “Bag Bad Back” was crafted in collaboration with a diverse group of choreographers and crews, including member Shotaro, Bada Lee, J Blaze, and The Bips. A highlight of the performance is the choreography, which visually mimics holding different types of bags—like tote bags, crossbody bags, and backpacks—perfectly reflecting the song’s bag-themed lyrics.
The group will embark on their first solo tour this year, unveiling the first part of their schedule for the 2025 Riize Concert Tour [Riizing Loud], which will kick off in Asia, with more dates to be announced. In addition, Riize Premiere, a 40-minute video project that creates a visual experience for every song, will be released online for the first time via the Riize community on Weverse on May 14th at 8 pm KST.
