Riize returns with ‘Fame’

The EP is available now

Rising global K-pop sensation Riize returns with Fame, a new single album featuring three dynamic tracks that delve into the group’s evolving identity, emotional honesty, and fearless artistic range. Released via SM Entertainment/RCA Records, the single album includes “Something’s in the Water,” “Fame,” and “Sticky Like,” each offering a distinct perspective and fresh sound.

With this release, Riize brings forward a more candid portrayal of the inner struggles that have underscored their rapid rise. Rather than masking these emotions, the members channel them directly into their music, refining the signature genre that defines them, “emotional pop.”

From the introspective calm of “Something’s in the Water,” to the explosive conviction of the title track “Fame,” to the sweeping sincerity of “Sticky Like,” the singles album offers a vivid, narrative-driven view into the group’s inner evolution. “Fame” was also released with a captivating music video that takes viewers into the world of Riize. Fans first got a taste of this world from the trailer posted two weeks ago, which generated a large amount of buzz since its release.

The release of Fame arrives just after a landmark season of achievements for Riize, marked by major cultural moments and ending with their first large-scale U.S. tour. In October, Riize made a history-making appearance at the Austin City Limits Music Festival, becoming the first K-pop group to ever perform at the festival. Just weeks later, the group lit up the Empire State Building in New York, a symbolic celebration ahead of their Riize Loud U.S. tour launch. Dressed in the group’s signature colors, the iconic landmark served as a beacon for fans, marking Riize’s growing cultural imprint in the United States.

The group’s 2025 Riize Concert Tour Riizing Loud in North America was produced by SM Entertainment and promoted by AEG Presents. Beginning October 30 in Rosemont, IL, the tour brought Riize’s powerful performances and global hits to major North American cities, including New York, Washington, D.C., Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. The broader Riizing Loud world tour launched with three sold-out shows in Seoul on July 4, drawing a staggering 31,000 fans and signaling Riize’s surging global momentum.

Not only did attendees of the U.S. tour experience the electric stage presence that has proven Riize is a group to watch, but they also experienced the U.S. live-stage debut of tracks from the group’s first full-length album, Odyssey. Featuring 10 songs, including the soaring title track “Fly Up,” Odyssey celebrates the group’s growth and creative exploration since their debut nearly two years ago. The album blends Riize’s emotional pop DNA with deeply personal storytelling and themes of self-reflection and ambition. The overwhelming enthusiasm from fans across continents underscores the group’s status as one of K-pop’s most exciting and internationally resonant acts.
