Roddy Ricch makes double debut at Paris Fashion Week

The rapper spanned both sides of the runway

Grammy-winning artist Roddy Ricch turned heads this Paris Fashion Week with a surprise runway debut for 424’s SS26 show, and days later returning in a transformative role: as the executive producer and composer of the original soundtrack for cult-favorite brand Namesake’s emotionally charged Innerchild collection.

The West Coast artist marked his official modeling debut stepping onto the runway for 424, dressed in a sharply tailored look that fused edge with precision. The production celebrated craftsmanship, featuring the return of Hoorsenbuh and DITA in collaboration with the brand. His surprise walk, alongside other high-profile figures from music, sport, and youth culture, had the industry buzzing.

Following, in a rare artistic crossover, he shifted from front-of-house to behind-the-scenes, curating the original score for Namesake’s Spring/Summer 2026 show Innerchild— a collection built on the rawness of boyhood nostalgia, athletic obsession, and the fractured identity of growing up.

Roddy’s musical direction was more than accompaniment—it became the emotional engine. Innerchild, directed by creative lead Steve Hsieh, used uniforms of youth—scout gear, school looks, and sportswear—as visual storytelling devices. Roddy’s score wove through silhouettes like memory itself—blending orchestral textures, trap gospel, ambient strings, and sports soundbites.

His musical direction and executive vision, shaped with support from longtime creative allies 808 Mafia, DJ Mustard, and Hendrix, resulted in a soundtrack that felt cinematic and haunting.

“The idea wasn’t just to make something that sounded good,” Ricch shares.“It was to create something that felt like opening a memory you forgot you had.”

From a performance at Coachella with DJ Mustard and Ty Dolla $ign, to a feature on Kendrick Lamar’s album GNX, to his voice acting debut in the animated film Sneaks, and his new single featured on the recently released F1 movie soundtrack, underscores his creative direction Roddy continues to expand his artistry across sound, screen, and now—style.

In both of his Paris Fashion Week appearances—on the runway and behind the music—Roddy Ricch enhances his creative force, moving across disciplines- whether wearing a look or scoring one.
