ACM-nominated trio Runaway June has released the beguiling and melodic love song “To Be Yours,” available now across all digital and streaming partners via Quartz Hill Records/Stone Country Records. The song is slated to be Runaway June’s next single at U.S. country radio with an impact date of April 14th.

“To Be Yours” arrives just as singer Stevie Woodward announced her engagement to boyfriend Jordan Howell and shared her engagement photos taken by Taylor G. Kelly at Nashville’s Hermitage Hotel, exclusively to People.com.

“To Be Yours” was penned by Runaway June band members Jennifer Wayne, Natalie Stovall, and Woodward alongside Aaron Eshuis and the track’s six-time Grammy-winning producer, Ron Fair. Woodward’s tender lead vocal floats above lush harmonies, gentle acoustic guitars, and a tender instrumental hook from Stovall’s fiddle, as she tells her now-fiancé that all they need in life is each other:

“You and I could sail in a boat on the Atlantic / Climb Mount Everest, or skydive in Paris / Leave the world behind, build a house on a deserted shore / But I would be happy just to be yours.”

“At the time that we wrote ‘To Be Yours,’ I was talking to my boyfriend about, do we want kids one day or do we not?” recalls Woodward. “And I was thinking, ‘If we weren’t lucky enough to have a family, I would be happy just to be yours.’”

“When Stevie brought in that idea and that melody, we were so over the moon about it,” says Stovall. “It was such a fun writing experience.”

“‘To Be Yours’ is just a beautiful love song and one of our favorite songs that we’ve written together,” adds Wayne. “Natalie and I felt like it was a gift from God, except that it was a gift from Stevie!”

Runaway June will debut “To Be Yours” on the Grand Ole Opry stage next Wednesday, February 12th, when the trio joins Lauren Alaina, LoCash, Opry member Mark Wills and more for the Mossy Oak Presents Conservation Aid, a live concert benefit for The NWTF Foundation, supporting the future of our wild places and wildlife.

The trio was a recent guest on The Music Universe Podcast where they teased new music and an album are forthcoming.
