The new song follows Dickerson’s fifth career chart-topper
Multi-platinum-selling artist Russell Dickerson releases a new track, “Good Day To Have A Great Day,” full of his signature infectious good-time vibes. Written by Russell Dickerson, Jesse Frasure, Justin Tranter, and Eren Cannata, the upbeat track is an ode to the hitmaker’s positive outlook on life and spreads the message that every day is worth celebrating.
“I wrote ‘Good Day To Have A Great Day’ about my life motto. Is every single day of your life amazing? Maybe not. But 99 percent of the time, you can choose to make it the best day ever,” Dickerson shares. “I hope this song lifts people up!”
The release of “Good Day To Have A Great Day” comes on the heels of Dickerson notching his fifth career No. 1, with “God Gave Me A Girl” and a career total of three billion streams.
Dickerson will hit the road this summer with Sam Hunt on the Locked Up Tour 2024 and also perform at fairs, festivals, and shows across the country. Additionally, the entertainer is gearing up for his Good Day To Have A Great Tour heading to the UK and Europe this summer. Dickerson will launch the tour in Belfast, Northern Ireland on August 23rd and continue the tour through the next month, hitting seven cities across Europe.
Dickerson has made a name for himself as an all-in performer. After bursting onto the scene, the Tennessee native quickly stood out from the pack as he released four consecutive career-starting singles that reached No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.
