Sabrina Carpenter announces ‘Short N’ Sweet’ deluxe edition featuring Dolly Parton

The new version features 17 tracks

Sabrina Carpenter will release a deluxe edition of her Grammy-winning Short N’ Sweet on February 14th via Island Records. The updated album features a duet with Dolly Parton on “Please, Please, Please” and four additional tracks.

“as a thank you for giving this album 2 Grammy’s :’)” Carpenter writes on social media. “short n’ sweet deluxe is now available for pre order.. and yes that does say featuring Miss Dolly Parton…. 💋💋💋she wouldn’t want me to swear but holy shit!!!!!”

The project will be available on two LPs: a direct-to-consumer pearl opaque version and a bright azure in a gatefold package. Both will have inserts, a standard poster, and a vinyl sleeve. The CD will include a 24-page booklet.

Carpenter, who was nominated for six Grammys at Sunday’s show, won her first Recording Academy accolade when she took home two trophies. “Espresso” was awarded Best Pop Solo Performance ahead of the ceremony while Short N’ Sweet was honored as Best Pop Vocal Album during the television broadcast. Her nominations included all big four categories — Artist Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Record Of The Year, and Best New Artist — a feat only 13 other artists have accomplished.

Upon its release last fall, Short N’ Sweet debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, marking her first No. 1 on the respective chart. The original album’s 12 tracks claimed spots in Spotify’s US Top 20 and the Top 40 of Spotify’s Global Top 200. Simultaneously, all tracks debuted within the Top 40 on Apple Music and the Top 15 on Apple Pop. “Taste” topped both Apple Music’s Overall Song Chart at No. 1 and Apple Pop at No. 1. The track also captured the top spot on Spotify’s US chart, dethroning her own “Please Please Please.”

“Espresso” became the third fastest song to hit one billion streams in Spotify history while “Please Please Please” continues to dominate popular culture and became Carpenter’s first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
