Couple are expecting first child in May
Sam Hunt’s wife, Hannah Lee Fowler, has filed for divorce, citing infidelity as the reason. TMZ has obtained the legal docs in which Fowler says she’s due with the couple’s first child in May, although they have not publicly announced the pregnancy as of press time.
Fowler claims that Hunt is “guilty of inappropriate marital conduct” and “the husband is guilty of such cruel and inhuman treatment or conduct toward the spouse as renders cohabitation unsafe or improper.”
Fowler filed the court docs in Tennessee on Friday, February 18th which say they were separated at the time. Fowler is asking for transitional, rehabilitative and future alimony. She’s also requesting primary custody of their unborn child and child support. She asks that both parties “be awarded their respective separate property,” which suggests a prenup was signed before the couple said “I do” in 2017.
Tennessee is a no fault state where Fowler doesn’t have to prove to the court that Hunt did any wrongdoing.
Fowler was the inspiration behind Hunt’s breakout Montavello, which is named after hometown.
Hunt has not commented on the matter as of press time.
