Whitney Houston Signature Fragrance in partnership with Scent Beauty
The Estate of Whitney Houston and Primary Wave Music have teamed with Scent Beaut for the launch the Whitney Houston Signature Fragrance. Inspired by the iconic superstar, legendary perfumer Firmenich has been tapped to translate Houston’s voice and beauty into signature fragrance notes.
“Whitney Houston has been a pioneer in the entertainment space and a true inspiration to women. We wanted to continue to bring her legacy to life through a scent that encompasses all that she accomplished,” states Scent Beauty founder and CEO Steve Mormoris.
With the support of Pat Houston, the Executor of The Estate of Whitney E. Houston, perfumers studied Whitney’s collection of fragrances and worked to develop a one-of-a-kind scent that highlighted all of her favorite fragrance notes and overall love for beauty.
“To wear Whitney Houston is to feel inspired and confident like Whitney, who has always encouraged women to embrace the greatest love for themselves,” shares Pat Houston.
A sparkling, singular gem, like the artist herself, the Whitney Houston Signature Fragrance notes are designed with soaring, bright fruits and florals that delight the senses, while its woody, sensual notes linger on, keeping you warm and assured in yourself. Whitney’s endless capacity for love shines through every note.
The fragrance is housed in a tall crystal shaped bottle that takes note of the star’s most loved personal style – from her favorite color purple, to the tall elegant square bottle that calls to mind the songstress’ stature. The cap serves as an allusion to the numerous trophies she received throughout her life and Whitney’s unique signature as the finishing touch to the packaging.
In partnership with The Whitney E. Houston Legacy Foundation, a portion of proceeds of the fragrance will benefit the foundation which serves as continuation of Whitney’s journey to rebuild lives, restore self-esteem and repair images through grassroots programs and initiatives for the young.
Whitney Houston Signature Fragrance has officially launched this month at Home Shopping Network in a two piece 3.4 oz option and 6 oz body lotion set, and will arrive early November at ScentBeauty.com as a 1.7 oz EDT, 6 oz BL and 8 oz body mist. An exclusive holiday gift set will be launched at Walmart early November. The fragrance will also be available at Perfumania mid-November.
