Singer-songwriter Shane Profitt releases his new track, “Whiskey With You,” available now via Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment, formerly BMLG Records. Following the release of the sweet love song “Two Down” in February, “Whiskey With You” adds a fiery windows-down anthem to the young singer-songwriter’s already versatile discography, further cementing his undeniable, inherent talent for top-tier storytelling.

Written by Profitt alongside Blake Bollinger, Chris Janson, and Nate Kenyon, “Whiskey With You” is written from the perspective of someone who is looking to the bottle to help them move on from and forget a past partner. Instead, the whiskey acts as a catalyst for regressing to destructive but familiar habits with someone they know isn’t right for them. Profitt cleverly lists off things he likes to pair with his whiskey, but notes that his ex isn’t one of them – and it’s a lesson he’s learned the hard way. He sings, “I can mix whiskey with water / Mix whiskey with Coke® / Mix whiskey with folks that I know and I don’t / I can mix just about near everything with that ninety-something proof / It don’t mix, and I can’t fix / So I don’t mix this whiskey with you.”

“Whiskey With You” is the latest in a string of stand-alone tracks Profitt has released in recent months, including “Good Luck And God,” “I Am Who I Am” and “Two Down.” Profitt has been crisscrossing the country on tour with Aaron Lewis and is set to play several country music festivals this summer, including Country Festival 2024, Festival of the Bells 2024, and Riverfront Festival 2024.
