The new song appears on her forthcoming 11th studio album

Nine-time Grammy Award winner and 2023 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Sheryl Crow releases “Do It Again,” the new single from her upcoming 11th full-length studio album, Evolution, out on March 29th via Valory Music Co.

“I feel like I’ve been writing this song for thirty years,” Crow explains. “To me, life is one long exploration in how to live joyfully. It’s a work in progress.”

Crow publicly stated that she would not release another full-length album after 2018’s Threads, so Evolution comes as a welcome surprise. “Everything is more song-oriented now with streaming, and making an album is a huge endeavor,” says Crow. “I started sending just a couple of demos to Mike, but the songs just kept flowing out of me and it was pretty obvious this was going to be an album.”

Evolution is Sheryl Crow at her most authentically human self. “This music and these lyrics came from sitting in the quiet and writing from a deep soul place. I said I’d never make another record, though there was no point to it. But this music comes from my soul. And I hope whoever hears this record can feel that.”

Sheryl Crow’s first nine studio albums have sold 35 million copies worldwide with seven charting in the Top 10, and five being certified for multi-platinum sales. Crow has been feted by a new generation of singer-songwriters who have covered her songs and talked about her influence, including Phoebe Bridgers, H.E.R, Haim, Maren Morris, Lorde, Sasami, Best Coast, and Brandi Carlile.
