Nate D Sanders will auction the item on November 21st
A rare and iconic piece of film and music history is now available for collectors: a script from the 1994 film Above the Rim signed by legendary rapper and actor Tupac Shakur. Portraying the character Birdie Sheppard, Tupac’s signature “2 PAC” appears in black ballpoint on the front cover, accompanied by signatures from the rest of the cast. Auction house Nate D. Sanders will auction the script on November 21st.
This unique script, obtained by actor David Bailey who played coach Mike Rollins in the film, measures 8.5” x 11” and includes different colored pages representing various drafts. Despite light wear and a missing middle brad, the script remains in very good-plus condition. Adding to its authenticity and value, the script is accompanied by a candid photograph taken during filming and a Letter of Authenticity (LOA) from David Bailey’s son.
An industry leader in documents and autographs, Nate D. Sanders Auctions has conducted auctions in Los Angeles since 1990 and now holds major auctions on a monthly basis. Owner Nate Sanders is recognized for his knowledge of sports, and historical and Hollywood memorabilia.
