Band returns for 18 dates this spring

The Smashing Pumpkins are heading back out on the road for Rock Invasion 2. Billy Corgan and co will play 18 dates throughout Mexico and the United States this spring. The trek includes headlining performances at the Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis and Welcome to Rockville in Daytona Beach, FL.

Special guest Bones will be along for the ride which includes stops in Santa Barbara, Tucson, Oklahoma City, New Orleans and others before wrapping May 29th at the Summer Camp Music Festival in Chillicothe, IL.

Presales start Wednesday, February 23rd at 10 am local time with general on sale on Friday, February 25th at 10 am local time via Ticketmaster. Premium seating options will be available in select locations.

The band had planned the Rock Invasion 2 trek for spring 2020 before being postponed due to the pandemic. Later that year, the group released its latest effort, Cyr, via its own Sumerian Records. The double album features frontman Billy Corgan along with founding members James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin, with Jeff Schroeder on guitar. Corgan also produced the project.
