The band has rescheduled six shows slated for September 2023

Aerosmith has been forced to postpone their Peace Out final tour for 30 days while frontman Steven Tyler recovers from vocal cord damage. The classic rockers shared the news via the band’s social media pages.

“I’m heartbroken to say I have received strict doctor’s orders not to sing for the next thirty days,” Tyler writes. “I sustained vocal cord damage during Saturday’s show that led to subsequent bleeding. We’ll need to postpone a few dates so that we can come back and give you the performance you deserve.”

Rescheduled dates include Detroit, Chicago, Washington DC, Toronto, Raleigh, and Cleveland. All six shows have been pushed to January and February 2024.

All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates. Refunds will be available for those unable to attend. Fans with questions regarding refunds are asked to reach out to their point of purchase.

Produced by Live Nation, the monumental 40-date North American tour kicked off in Philadelphia last week and will see the Boston rockers headline iconic arenas across the US and Canada, including Los Angeles’ Kia Forum, New York’s Madison Square Garden, Austin’s Moody Center, Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena, Chicago’s United Center, Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena through early next year. A highlight of the tour will be a stop in Boston for a special hometown show on New Year’s Eve 2023.
