Event expands to three days in Tampa
Sunset Events & Disco Donnie Presents are proud to announce that dance music veteran and Grammy Award winning artist Skrillex is the first of three main stage closers to be announced for Sunset Music Festival 2022. Fans earned this announcement, retweeting a teaser tweet from Sunset over 300 times in less than two hours to unlock this huge news. Skrillex will join the robust roster of 50+ artists to perform at Raymond James Stadium for the first three day edition of Sunset Music Festival from May 27-29th in Tampa.
Skrillex’s live shows have set the bar for live performance, known for delivering unparalleled energy and skill each time he steps behind the decks. He’s a global sensation who has headlined arenas and festivals all around the world, graced the covers of magazine heavyweights like Rolling Stone and Wired, and holds the record for most Grammys won by an EDM artist. His collaborations include Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, FKA Twigs, Kid Cudi, Boys Noize, A$AP Rocky, and Diplo among countless others.
Beyond his obviously impressive career in electronic music, from Grammy Awards to Billboard Top 10 Hits to collaborations with the world’s biggest names… Skrillex’s name on the Sunset lineup means so much more to electronic fans. For many, Skrillex represents the beginning of their journey into the electronic music scene. Skrillex was a huge part of the growth of the electronic music scene from underground clubs and warehouses to arena tours and festivals. This performance will mark Skrillex’s fourth time joining the Sunset Music Festival lineup. Previous years include 2015 as Skrillex, 2016 as Jack U, 2019 as Dog Blood.

In light of the announcement of the global sensation, Skrillex, joining the lineup, Sunset Music Festival now offers special hotel and ticket packages through Fuse. Fuse empowers event and entertainment producers to sell curated travel packages.
