Swift was crowned the night’s biggest winner at the annual kids-voted awards show
The stars were out for the 2024 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards (KCAs) in Santa Monica, CA on Saturday (July 13th). The kid-friendly network saw film, television, music, sports, and other winners receive the iconic orange Blimps. Hosted by SpongeBob SquarePants (voiced by Tom Kenny) and Patrick Star (voiced by Bill Fagerbakke) with groundbreaking technology, Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Renee Rapp, Billie Eilish, Post Malone, and others were chosen as winners by kids around the globe.
Swift was crowned the night’s biggest winner as she took home three of the six she was nominated for, including Favorite Female Artist, Global Music Star, and Ticket of the Year for her record-breaking Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour. Swift wasn’t in attendance as she was halfway around the world performing in Milan, Italy. Due to a recent costume change, Swifties speculate an announcement about Taylor’s Version of Reputation is imminent.
Other music winners include Rodrigo taking home the award for Kids Female TV Star. Eilish received a Blimp for “What Was I Made For?” from the Barbie film and soundtrack. Singer and actor Jack Black was chosen as kids’ Favorite Villain as he voiced Bowser in the blockbuster Super Mario Bros. Movie. Post Malone received the Male Artist award. “Barbie World” was picked as the Favorite Music Collaboration. Olivia Rodrigo’s Guts was named Favorite Album. Renee Rapp was chosen as Favorite Breakout Artist. Imagine Dragons named Favorite Music Group. Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” was named Favorite Viral Song.
The Kid Laroi took to the Barker Hangar stage to perform “Nights Like These,” “Girls,” and “Stay.”
Jelly Roll, who was nominated for Favorite Breakout Artist, was slimed while announcing Favorite Female Voice From an Animated Movie. He embraced the honor by throwing his hands up in excitement and giving two thumbs up!
