The Lumineers add Newcastle headlining show

The Automatic World Tour features The Head and The Heart

The Lumineers are making their Automatic World Tour even bigger with a new headlining show at Newcastle Entertainment Centre on Thursday, January 15th, as part of their upcoming Australia and New Zealand run, their first live shows down under since 2022.

Presales start Wednesday, October 29th, ahead of the general sale on Thursday, October 30th.

Joining The Lumineers at all AU shows is US indie six-piece The Head and the Heart. The platinum-selling outfit is heading down under off the back of their sixth album, Aperture, released in May via label Verve Forecast. Having played stadium dates with The Lumineers this year, they recently announced they’ll join Brandi Carlile on the road for her upcoming February US tour.

With billions of global streams and a blistering live reputation that continues to ascend, The Lumineers have carved a singular path. Yet at the heart of it all lies their commitment to honest songwriting – a badge of honour that’s seen them collaborate with the likes of P!nk, James Bay, Noah Kahan, and Zach Bryan. The band’s wildly successful 2022 Brightside World Tour took in 120 cities, 29 countries, six continents, and sold over 1.1 million tickets.
