They Might Be Giants releases ‘I Can’t Remember The Dream’

Song appears from upcoming album Book

Alternative rockers They Might Be Giants have unleashed the explosive new single “I Can’t Remember the Dream.” This catchy rocker has immediate appeal combining a memorable melody and TMBG’s signature dark lyricism. Along with its release is a fantastic new video directed by Alex Italics.

The single is a preview track in anticipation of the release of Book, a new music+book project coming this October. Book is the product of a year-long collaboration of the band, graphic design legend Paul Sahre, and Brooklyn photographer Brian Karlsson, and arrives as a 144-page, cloth-bound, hardcover art book of real prestige.

In addition to the music+book sets of Book, there will also be standalone audio releases available on vinyl, CD, and cassette. The limited edition run of 8-track tapes sold out instantly.

Two-time Grammy winners, They Might Be Giants started out years back with their notorious Dial-A-Song service, powered by a lone phone machine out of their Brooklyn apartments. Since then they have toured the world, have made a ton of albums, and have secretly infiltrated your consciousness via themes and incidental music to countless television shows and commercials.

The band will return to touring in 2022 in support of the new release while also celebrating their delayed 30th anniversary of their platinum-selling album Flood. Thirty-seven dates have already sold out in advance and the rest will undoubtably sell out as well once enough Americans are vaccinated and stop freaking everyone else out.
