Special guests to be announced soon
Multi-platinum performer and 2020 ACM Entertainer of the Year, Thomas Rhett, will appear on the annual โBob Kingsleyโs Acoustic Alley,โ to be held on Wednesday, February 17th during CRS 2021: The Virtual Experience. Rhettโs special guests who will be joining the lineup will be announced at a later date. This yearโs โBob Kingsleyโs Acoustic Alleyโ is sponsored by Skyview Networks.
“Every year this event brings together such special songwriters in our community and itโs an honor to help keep that tradition going on behalf of Bob,โ Rhett shares. “Even though it may look a little different this year, I canโt wait to share what we have planned with yโall!โ
Along with writing and co-producing much of his own material, Rhett has written songs recorded by Jason Aldean (โI Ainโt Ready to Quitโ and โ1994โ), Florida Georgia Line (โRound Hereโ), Michael Ray (โThink A Little Lessโ) and Old Dominionโs GRAMMY-nominated โSome People Do,โ among others.
Rhettโs most recent release, his GRAMMY-nominated fourth studio album Center Point Road continued to propel his meteoric career as “few singers have played a larger role in defining the sound of country music over the past half-dozen yearsโ (Rolling Stone), debuting atop the Billboard 200 and spawning three No. 1 hits including its platinum lead single, โLook What God Gave Her,โ which was first introduced on SNL. Rhett has scored nearly 10 billion total career streams and received two CMA Triple Play awards for penning three No. 1 songs within a 12-month period, adding to his collection of trophies from the Country Music Association, Academy of Country Music, Billboard Music Awards, CMT Music Awards and more.
Rhett recently earned the highest chart debut of his career with โWhatโs Your Country Songโ as country radioโs most-added song with 150 stations, debuting at No. 18 on Billboardโs Country Airplay Chart and No. 25 on the Mediabase/Country Airplay Chart.
Each year, โBob Kingsleyโs Acoustic Alley,โ brings together highly-awarded songwriters who perform some of their most popular hits while sharing the stories behind the songs. The event has become one of Country Radio Seminarโs most anticipated events.
