“Christmas Feeling” & “Mary Did You Know?” are available now
Rising R&B/country/gospel trailblazer Tiera Kennedy releases two new singles, holiday standout “Christmas Feeling” and a soulful cover of “Mary Did You Know,” via Green is My Color.
Written by Kennedy, Cameron Bedell, Emily Landis, Lauren Scott, and Joe L. Barnes, with Bedell producing as well, “Christmas Feeling” is a cozy holiday original, sure to be a Christmas classic.
“‘Christmas Feeling’ is such a special song for me,” Tiera shares. “Kamren and I have been married for four years and together for eleven, and every day with him really does feel like Christmas. There’s this cozy, peaceful feeling that comes with the season – the warmth, the love, the togetherness – and it always reminds me how grateful I am for what we share.”
“I also recorded ‘Mary Did You Know?'” Tiera continues. “Which has been one of my favorite Christmas songs for as long as I can remember. It’s such a powerful reminder of faith – it blows my mind to think about how Mary must have felt, literally carrying the child of God.”
“Christmas Feeling” follows three additional 2025 originals: a beautiful reminder of brighter days ahead, “Down The Road,” an afro-pop earworm “Somebody Like You,” and a gospel duet “Making Room” featuring Joe L Barnes. Tiera also celebrated the first anniversary of Grammy Album of the Year, Cowboy Carter, including her two features on “Blackbiird” and “Tyrant,” by releasing a cover of Beyoncé’s “1+1.”
Tiera is now putting the finishing touches on her highly anticipated album, set for release in early 2026.
