Train announces 2026 Drops of Jupiter headlining tour

Barenaked Ladies & Matt Nathanson will support

Train is gearing up for a massive 2026 with the announcement of a new North American summer headline tour. The Drops of Jupiter: 25 Years in The Atmosphere Tour will bring fans an epic night of music filled with Train’s most iconic, chart-topping hits including RIAA diamond-certified, No. 1 best-selling smash “Hey, Soul Sister,” double-Grammy-winning iconic track “Drops of Jupiter,” five-time platinum-certified anthem “Drive By,” and many more from their critically acclaimed catalog spanning three decades. Joining Train on the road this summer are multi-platinum-selling rock band Barenaked Ladies and acclaimed singer-songwriter Matt Nathanson.

Produced by Live Nation, the 2026 North American summer tour will kick off July 8th in West Palm Beach, FL, making stops in 38+ cities, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Nashville, Dallas, Phoenix, and more before concluding on August 30 in Auburn, WA. Additional stops include Colorado’s iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre on August 17th and a co-headlining show with Barenaked Ladies in Toronto, ON on August 4th.

To celebrate the tour announcement, actor and comedian George Lopez recorded a special video message with Train frontman Pat Monahan.

Presales start tomorrow (Tues, Nov 11th) at noon local time, ahead of the general sale on Friday, November 21st at 10 am local time. Presales for the August 22nd show in Santa Barbara, CA will begin on Tuesday, November 18th at 10 am local, with general onsale beginning Friday, November 21st.

To coincide with the anniversary, Train is set to release new music this spring. The band will celebrate their tour announcement and kick off the milestone anniversary in NYC this week with very special performances at the Today Show on Wednesday and Live with Kelly and Mark on Thursday.

Additionally, after an incredible run on tour with Train last summer, Butch Walker, singer-songwriter, mega-producer, and longtime collaborator (Save Me, San Francisco, California 37, Bulletproof Picasso, AM Gold) has been announced as the newest member of the diamond-selling band. Over the last three decades, Walker has achieved massive success both as a solo artist and in bands (Marvelous 3), while also cultivating a reputation as an in-demand producer by working and collaborating with high-profile artists, including Taylor Swift, Avril Lavigne, P!nk, Katy Perry, Fall Out Boy, Green Day, and more.
