The song is the first from her upcoming Christmastime album
Trisha Yearwood ushers in the holiday season with her first single and music video, “Christmas Time Is Here,” available now on all streaming platforms. The single offers a sweeping orchestral reimagining of the beloved classic from A Charlie Brown Christmas and serves as the first look at Yearwood’s forthcoming holiday album, Christmastime, arriving November 7th, via Virgin Music Group and Gwendolyn Records.
The accompanying music video captures the warmth and nostalgia of Christmas Eve and features personal home videos from Yearwood’s collection. Set in a cozy cabin, Yearwood arrives home and winds down for the night to prepare for Christmas morning. We follow Yearwood as she shares her holiday traditions, wrapping presents, setting out milk and cookies for Santa, and reflecting on the joy of the season.
“The album I have to play every Christmas is A Charlie Brown Christmas. I love every single song, and I’ve always wanted to record ‘Christmas Time Is Here.’ I knew it had to be on this record,” Yearwood says. “I walked down the aisle to that song when I married Garth. We had a Christmas wedding, so it’s always been extra special to me.”
Produced by Grammy Award winner Don Was and featuring lush arrangements by the legendary David Campbell, Christmastime showcases Yearwood’s powerhouse vocals across beloved classics, and unexpected reimaginings, plus a heartfelt original, “Merry Christmas, Valentine,” co-written and performed with Garth Brooks. Highlights include “Blue Christmas,” “Pure Imagination,” and “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.”
To mark the release of Christmastime, Yearwood will celebrate with a series of special events throughout November. On November 8th, Yearwood will appear at PaleyFest in New York City for An Evening with Trisha Yearwood.
She will also host two special Williams Sonoma album signing events, where fans can get the new album along with her best-selling holiday cocktail mix, Christmas in a Cup. The signings will be on November 7th at Williams Sonoma in Columbus Circle in New York City and on November 14th in Charleston, South Carolina. She’ll then appear at the Charleston Food & Wine Festival on November 15th for a festive tasting inspired by Christmastime.
Yearwood kicks off the Christmastime with Trisha Yearwood: 12 Days of Christmas Tour on December 2nd in Nashville. She will perform with local symphonies nationwide, bringing the holiday spirit to life with the Christmastime album and timeless favorites.
