The rising country star will release his 19-track debut album on May 16th
Rising country star Tyler Braden serves up an introspective and impactful new song entitled “Right on Track” out now via Warner Music Nashville. Additionally, he unveils a powerful visualizer/visual/music video to accompany the track. It just paves the way for the impending release of his highly anticipated debut full-length album, Devil and a Prayer, on May 16th.
From the jump, Braden’s vivid storytelling drives “Right on Track” through loose acoustic guitar and a haze of feedback. As if exhaling one last breath of smoke, he sighs, “They sit you down at seventeen…Where you going? What you gonna be?” A tale of self-reflection, he follows a thematic thread from one decade to the next. Overdriven distortion kicks in during the hook as his voice echoes, “When it’s all going to hell, like the train’s about to crash, running off the rails, just keep your foot down on the gas.”
Without holding back, the track explores what it means to grow at your own pace.
It lands in the wake of “To Tell You The Truth. (B Stage),” which has already generated nearly one million global streams and counting. He initially teased Devil and a Prayer with the buzzing anthem “God & Guns N’ Roses.” The latter has already gathered more than 2.7 million global streams to date.
The album, consisting of 19 songs, was conceptualized by Braden to serve as a representation of his own artistic and personal growth, both combined and delivered to the listener in the imaginative form of a live show. In addition to “God & Guns N’ Roses,” it also includes his previously released fan-favorites “More Than a Prayer,” “Above the Water,” “Me or the Dawn,” “Call Me First,” plus a standout duet “Might Be Dangerous” with Kaitlin Butts available on release day.
Braden is currently on the road for Warren Zeiders’ The Relapse Tour where they are commanding crowds across the U.S. with shows at Hard Rock Live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida tonight (Fri, Apr 18th) and St. Augustine Amphitheatre in St. Augustine tomorrow. The tour continues on to stop by famed venues such as Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park, New Jersey and MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston next week and others before supporting Darius Rucker this fall.
