With the success of his debut solo single, “5 Foot 9,” EMI Records Nashville recording artist Tyler Hubbard released a new acoustic version of the song. Written by Hubbard, Jaren Johnston and Chase McGill, Hubbard also produced the acoustic track with Jordan Schmidt. The original version already has nearly 184 million LTD streams and currently sits at No. 3 at country radio. The song quickly moved inside the Top 50 on the streaming chart in its first four weeks and currently sits inside the Top 20 on the Country Streaming Chart.

“I’m so excited to be releasing an acoustic version of ‘5 Foot 9,'” says Hubbard. “I’m humbled by the response we’ve seen from fans over the past few months. Hearing crowds singing the words back to me on tour has been an incredible experience. For this acoustic version, we started from scratch and really broke down the instrumentation and tempo to give it a different feel. We ended up with an interpretation that we hope brings a new emotion to the song.”

Hubbard’s first six-song project, Dancin’ In The Country, debuted with over 10,000 sales plus streaming units, making it the second best-selling country EP debut of the year. Dancin’ In The Country also debuted at No. 1 on the Heatseekers Albums chart, No. 6 on the Current Country Albums sales chart, and No. 107 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.

Hubbard will make his Grand Ole Opry debut as a solo artist on Friday, November 11th. The former Florida Georgia Line frontman’s debut solo album will be released on January 27, 2023.

Hubbard is currently on tour on Keith Urban’s The Speed of Now World Tour with Ingrid Andress with dates through November.
