The event returns to Pasadena on May 10th
Goldenvoice has announced the highly-anticipated return of the Just Like Heaven Festival on Saturday, May 10th at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. The single-day festival will feature headlining performances from Vampire Weekend and Rilo Kiley, alongside Empire of the Sun, Bloc Party, TV On The Radio, The Drums, Courtney Barnett, Toro y Moi, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, GroupLove, Perfume Genius, The Sounds, Panda Bear, Beach Fossils, Peter Bjorn and John, very special guests Slowdive, and many more.
After performing at last year’s Just Like Heaven with The Postal Service, Jenny Lewis has revealed that she will be reuniting with her first band, the iconic Los Angeles native Rilo Kiley, for their first performance in over 15 years!
Ezra Koenig of Vampire Weekend also made an appearance at last year’s festival, joining Phoenix onstage for a surprise performance of their hit single “Tonight.” Meanwhile, Vampire Weekend continues to ride hot on the success of their 2024 world tour in support of their critically acclaimed 5th album, Only God Was Above Us.
Several Just Like Heaven artists will be celebrating landmark anniversaries of iconic albums: 20 years since the release of Bloc Party’s platinum-selling Silent Alarm and Peter Bjorn and John’s critically acclaimed album Writer’s Block, and it’s the tenth anniversary of Courtney Barnett’s chart-topping, award-winning debut album Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit.
In partnership with the Rose Bowl Operating Company, Goldenvoice Pasadena festivals including Just Like Heaven have donated $250,000 to the Eaton Fire Relief & Recovery Fund. This fund offers flexible support to local nonprofit organizations actively responding to the fires.
