Star releases two-track bundle

Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter and country music maverick, Walker Hayes announces his new partnership with Monument Records and RCA Records. In celebration, Hayes releases his new two-track bundle Strait Two Stepping featuring “Stetson” and “Show Me The Country.” Driven by effortlessly flowing rhymes and witty lyricism, both offerings will have you up and dancing from the first bass drop.

“Couldn’t be more excited to continue working with RCA. Since my music is all over the map, I’m really looking forward to this next chapter with them and seeing how we can spread the bass/808’s. Can’t wait to dance with the world to these,” shares Hayes.

This summer, Hayes has been on his headlining arena tour, The Duck Buck Tour, stopping in Oklahoma City, Jacksonville, Nashville, Raleigh and more through October.

Earlier this week, the TikTok sensation previewed the unreleased song, “Haircut,” during a Great Clips campaign. The hair salon has enlisted Hayes and his six kids to star in a new video called “In the Green Room” which features the family singing the chorus to the Hayes’ song “Haircut.”

Over the last few years, Monument Records recording artist Walker Hayes has experienced just about the highest high an artist can dream of. After grinding for nearly 20 years in Nashville, he struck gold with his smash hit “Fancy Like.” For months, the fun-filled tune could be heard in every bar, restaurant, sports game or tailgate, all while hundreds of thousands of people danced to it on TikTok. The song garnered Hayes a Grammy nomination, among many other accolades, and led to a sold out, headlining arena tour.

Earlier this year, Hayes released the two-track retrospective, Being a Dad and Missing Mine. The set features “6 String American Dream” that reflects seeing his music dreams come true, while facing the loss of his father and seventh child. The other track, titled “If Father Time Had a Daughter,” is equally as introspective and finds Hayes begging Father Time to have mercy on the fathers who have to watch their little girls grow up so fast.
