Next chapter from Lover’s Game available now

Trailblazing husband-and-wife duo The War And Treaty release their new single, “Ain’t No Harmin’ Me,” from their forthcoming milestone album, Lover’s Game, out March 10th via UMG Nashville. The fiery track co-written by the duo and produced by Dave Cobb combines their fire-and-brimstone harmony with a prowess lyrical anthem that wards off any doubts. As hints of truth have always been present in their music, The War And Treaty continue to offer their unique perspective on shifting cultural and musical tides that encompass their first major-label release under Mercury Nashville.

“Love is the foundation of our new record and ‘Ain’t No Harmin’ Me’ reminds us that no matter what troubles are waiting around the corner…the power of love will pull us through,” Michael Trotter Jr. says. “We wrote this together as a personal testament to ourselves…we aren’t afraid to face the hard times knowing we have the other by our side. “Aint No Harmin’ Me” pulls back another layer of The War And Treaty’s maturing relationship found throughout the 10-song collection, as Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter share a sonic landscape from the project. The War And Treaty dug deep into the lessons their love has laid bare, with more than 100 songs written over the last two years before completing their major label debut. The previously released Blank Page EP offers an introduction to the full Lover’s Game sonic landscape with songs like the title track and “That’s How Love Is Made.”

On the heels of new music, The War And Treaty will sit-down with Sunday Today this weekend on NBC), where they take viewers inside the studio and highlight the importance of black culture in country music.

It was just announced that this summer, The War And Treaty will join Chris Stapleton on the All-American Road Show Tour. But first, they will bring their show “from a concert to something of a religious experienceto more than 35-cities this spring on their own Lover’s Game Tour, kicking off March 19th in Oklahoma City.
