“The Lure” and “World Class Sinner” are from episode one

The Weeknd has shared two new songs from the first episode of his new HBO series, The Idol. “The Lure (Main Theme)” and “World Class Sinner/I’m A Freak (Jocelyn’s Pop Single)” are available now digitally.

“The Lure (Main Theme)” is performed, written and produced by Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye and Mike Dean. “World Class Sinner/I’m a Freak (Jocelyn’s Pop Single)” is performed by Lily-Rose Depp and written by Tesfaye and Asa Taccone. It was produced by Taccone.

The HBO Original series debuted Sunday, June 4th at 9 pm ET/PT on HBO and is available to stream on Max. Warner Bros. Discovery shared that the series premiered to 913 thousand, combining linear views on HBO and Max streams.

Starring The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp, the series is co-created by Tesfaye, Sam Levinson (HBO’s Euphoria) and Reza Fahim. It is executive produced by Levinson, Tesfaye, Fahim, Kevin Turen, Ashley Levinson, Joe Epstein, Aaron L. Gilbert for Bron, and Sara E. White, and produced in partnership with A24.

The series also stars Dan Levy, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Eli Roth, Hari Nef, Jane Adams, Jennie Ruby Jane, Mike Dean, Moses Sumney, Rachel Sennott, Ramsey, Suzanna Son, and Hank Azaria.

The Weeknd continues his After Hours Til Dawn global stadium tour this weekend with a performance in Manchester, UK. International dates are scheduled through October 25th when it wraps in Guadalajara, Mexico.
