Nelson will miss the fourth performance on the trek

Due to an ongoing unspecified illness, Willie Nelson will miss his fourth performance at his 2024 Outlaw Music Festival tonight (Wed, June 26th) in Virginia Beach, VA.

“Willie Nelson will not be performing at tonight’s show in Virginia Beach. We expect Willie to return to the tour shortly,” his team shares via his socials.

Bob Dylan, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, and Celisse will perform as scheduled with Lukas Nelson and the Family will perform Willie classics with special guests.

The country legend missed the three opening weekend performances last week due to being sick.

The 91-year-old country legend is one of the headliners of the annual event, which made its debut in 2016. The trek kicks off tonight in Alpharetta, Georgia with shows in Charlotte, NC tomorrow (Sat, June 22nd), and Raleigh, NC on Sunday (June 23rd).

The rotating traveling festival lineup continues through the fall with John Mellencamp, Southern Avenue, and Billy Strings on select dates.
