Xdinary Heroes releases ‘Fire (My Sweet Misery)’

The song drops ahead of the group’s summer tour

Xdinary Heroes, the South Korean rock band signed to JYP Entertainment’s Studio J, have released their latest single, “Fire (My Sweet Misery),” across all streaming platforms. This high-energy single features the group’s iconic rock sound and a melody that’s perfect for summer.

This captivating new single sung completely in English highlights the very relatable dichotomy that sometimes misery can be sweet. It not only highlights the band’s musical versatility but also presents a deeper, more raw expression of their artistic growth, providing listeners with an experience that is both powerful and unique. In celebration, Xdinary Heroes hosted a special summer event called Xdinary Heroes Summer Special: The Xcape. This event took place from July 4-6 at the Olympic Park Handball Stadium in Songpa-gu, Seoul. Attendees got to enjoy the first live performance of “Fire (My Sweet Misery),” giving them a glimpse of what they can experience from the group’s on-stage act.

This single comes on the heels of their sixth EP, and the announcement of their highly anticipated 2025 World Tour, which will include seven major U.S. stops this August. The band also revealed that they will be joining the lineup at this year’s Lollapalooza festival, taking place in Chicago’s iconic Grant Park on Thursday, July 31st. Produced by Live Nation, the 2025 World Tour kicked off on May 2nd with four nights at Olympic Hall in Seoul before continuing to Bangkok, Singapore, New York, Los Angeles, and more, wrapping up in San Jose, CA at the San Jose Civic on August 16. The tour promises to bring the same exhilarating energy that fans experienced during the band’s first international tour, the Break the Brake World Tour, which electrified “Villains” across Europe in cities like Paris, London, Frankfurt, Madrid, Milan, and Warsaw, and more. The group will be taking that energy to the states for the first time since their 2024 sold-out showcases in Los Angeles and New York, which marked their debut U.S. performances.

Xdinary Heroes had a highly successful 2024 release slate, which included the group’s critically acclaimed full-length debut album, Troubleshooting. The album set the stage for their next release, the fifth EP, Live and Fall. This EP featured singles like “Boy Comics” and “Love and Fear,” both of which garnered widespread acclaim.
