ZZ Top announces 2026 European tour

The group heads over the pond for the first time in two years

Get ready, Europe! For the first time in two years, the legendary ZZ Top is bringing their celebrated Little Ol’ Band From Texas back across the pond for a massive five-week, 23-date tour next summer. Billy F Gibbons, Elwood Francis, and Frank Beard kick off the run in Tartu, Estonia, before hitting Finland, Sweden, Norway, Germany, and more, with a final series of concerts in Spain in mid-to-late July. Fans will catch the trio at festivals, major arenas, and unique venues, including a bullring in Murcia. Several more dates are on the way.

“We love playing for European audiences as they’re among the most energetic and enthusiastic we’ve encountered over the course of the past five decades,” Gibbons shares. “We’re excited to bring The Big One! to the continent where you can be sure we’ll be turning it up and rocking out. We predict a circumstance of direct communication because there’s no language barrier when the common parlance is to let it rock.”

The band last toured the region in the summer of 2024 and 2019, before that.

The news follows yesterday’s (Tues, Nov 18th) announcement that they will co-headline North American dates with Dwight Yoakam in the spring. The Dos Amigos Tour is set to rock stages across the Midwest, South, and East Coast. The highly anticipated tour brings together the iconic Texas blues-rock of ZZ Top with the distinctive, Bakersfield-sound country of Dwight Yoakam for a powerhouse evening of classic hits and electrifying performances.

In 2021, ZZ Top faced a significant loss with the passing of Dusty Hill. At his urging, Francis stepped up to fill the void, bringing exceptional musicianship and coincidental facial hair, making him a worthy successor to the legendary bassist. Fronted by Gibbons and underpinned by rhythmic force of Beard with Elwood on bass for the past few years, the group continues to redefine their sonic approach.
