BTS to release final album in ‘Love Yourself’ series

Package comes August 24th via Big Hit Entertainment

Following the record breaking release of their No. 1 album Love Yourself ‘Tear,’ BTS will release a repackaged album titled Love Yourself ‘Answer’ on August 24th. Big Hit Entertainment first announced the release through BTS’ official fan café. The repackaged album will consist of seven new tracks in addition to previously released tracks. Pre-orders will be available starting July 18th.

The Love Yourself series follows BTS’ school trilogy, The most beautiful moment in life series showcasing their youth, and Wings and its epilogue You Never Walk Alone series showcasing the theme of temptation. The first three parts of the Love Yourself series have each been expressed respectively through ‘Wonder,’ ‘Her,’ and ‘Tear.’ The Love Yourself ‘Wonder’ video and Love Yourself ‘Her’ album expressed the heart-fluttering and tingling moments of love, while Love Yourself ‘Tear’ embodied and highlighted the pain of boys faced with parting. Love Yourself ‘Answer’ is the fourth installment and conclusion in BTS’ Love Yourself series and shows the boys who have taken off their masks and are facing their true selves.

Since the release of Love Yourself ‘Tear’ in May of 2018, the album achieved No. 1 status on the Billboard 200 chart making this the first time any Korean artist has achieved a No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart. The hit single, “Fake Love,” peaked at the No. 10 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart making it the highest-ranking song for any Korean group on the Billboard Hot 100 chart proving BTS’ worldwide popularity and dominance. BTS will kick off their highly anticipated Love Yourself World Tour this fall with 10+ North American dates.
