Dates continue to sell out for the group’s massive tour

Cage The Elephant’s highly anticipated North American Neon Pill Tour continues to sell-out dates across the country including the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, and many more. A true testament to the Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum, and gold-selling six-piece, close to entering their third decade together as a band, they remain one of the nation’s most loved live acts. Following the band’s sensational Bonnaroo Festival performance this past weekend, Cage The Elephant added a date in the band’s current hometown of Nashville on Sunday, September 1st at Ascend Amphitheater.

The 48-date North American tour, produced by Live Nation, kicks off this week on Thursday, June 20th in Salt Lake City with stops in Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York City, and many more, with support from Young The Giant and Bakar on most dates. Willow Avalon, Girl Tones, and Vlad Holiday will also join on select dates.

Presales for Nashville are underway with the general sale beginning on Thursday, June 20th at 10 am local time.

The Neon Pill Tour supports Cage The Elephant’s sixth studio album, Neon Pill, which was released May 17, 2024, via RCA Records. The album finds the Kentucky-bred brothers Matthew Shultz and Brad Shultz, Daniel Tichenor, Jared Champion, Nick Bockrath, and Matthan Minster forging new musical ground while maintaining their uncompromising creativity and wildly cathartic performances.

Neon Pill, produced by John Hill, materialized during sessions at Sonic Ranch in El Paso, Electric Lady in New York, Sound Emporium in Nashville, Echo Mountain in North Carolina, and at Hill’s studio in Los Angeles, and alchemized a season of tragedy and turbulence into the 12 tracks on their sixth full-length album. Nine months into the pandemic, Matthew and Brad lost their father. The band weathered the back-to-back deaths of friends, while Matthew experienced depression and a mental breakdown, culminating in hospitalization. Coming out on the other side, he learned quite a bit about himself and gained a whole lot of strength and wisdom. Neon Pill came to life in the eye of the storm.
