Song is first from forthcoming album

Country singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Caroline Jones releases her new upbeat track “Keep It Safe” featuring Alyssa Bonagura off her forthcoming studio album, expected later this year. Written by Jones and Bonagura, the track explores those precious butterflies-in-the-tummy stages of a new relationship.

Both artists, who have formed a great friendship, are completely obsessed with harmonies, modulations and the 90’s country and pop sounds, which are evident on the track and a tip of the hat to the sounds of that era.

“Alyssa is a super talented musician, producer, singer and songwriter, and a really genuine spirit. I’m so grateful to call her a really close friend and collaborator. This song is very 90’s and harkens back to The Corrs, SheDaisy, Shania and even The Bangles!” Jones says.

“Over the last year, Caroline and I have become such great friends and this song was really born out of one of our deep girly chats about life and love. I had just started dating someone new and Caroline gave me such amazing sisterly advice to remember to take it slow and be present and things would work out the way they were supposed to! It’s such a good reminder to be present in all things and sometimes all it takes is a good friend to remind you of that!” adds Bonagura.

Last year, Caroline officially joined multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning Zac Brown Band as a full-time band member, making her the first and only female. Jones will continue to join the band for all tours, performances, appearances, and in the studio, in addition to keeping up with her solo career. This March, they will headline shows in London, Glasgow and Dublin as part of the C2C: Country to Country festival and at CMC Rocks in Australia, where Caroline will also be performing her own solo set. The band is also hitting the road again in the U.S. this summer for their From The Fire Tour, kicking off in Columbus, OH, on June 30th. They will perform over 30 shows, including a return to Fenway Park, where they have sold out 13 times previously.

The forthcoming studio album will be Jones’ third, following her sophomore album, Antipodes, released in November 2021. The project debuted at No. 4 on the iTunes Country charts and featured her first Top 30 hit, “Come In (But Don’t Make Yourself Comfortable),” which has become a TikTok sensation with its viral line dance that’s racked in over 539 million views and counting.
