New single appears on forthcoming album

Actor Keanu Reeves’ Los Angeles-based, independent rock band Dogstar has released a new song and music video, “Breach,” from their highly-anticipated forthcoming album Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees set for release October 6th via their own label Dillon Street Records with distribution through ADA.

“Turn it way up. We hope you enjoy it,” the band shares of the single.

Demand for Dogstar’s sold out 25+ city headlining Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees Tour, which kicked off yesterday (Thurs, Aug 10th) with an exhilarating performance at Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach, was overwhelming as the tour sold out on the first day of ticket sales. The tour continues with a Phoenix tonight and then a run of west coast dates across cities like Las Vegas, Salt Lake City and Denver through the end of the month, before they take their live show overseas for three dates in Japan in early September. They will resume their North American dates in December in cities like Chicago, Toronto, New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, DC and Atlanta before concluding on December 20th in Nashville, TN.

Earlier this week, it was announced that Dogstar will perform as part of Will Ferrell’s Best Night of Your Life 2 benefit event on October 21st at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.

Comprised of guitarist/vocalist Bret Domrose, drummer Robert Mailhouse and bassist Keanu Reeves, Dogstar was born in 1991 as a band of friends who came together in a garage in Southern California and simply dreamed of playing music together and making a little noise. The happily reunited rock trio’s official return came in May 2023 – more than 20 years since their last performance together – with their first public performance at the BottleRock Napa Valley music festival with a set that sparked fan and critical praise alike, including the live debut of their lead single “Everything Turns Around,” which was officially released July 19th.
