Eric Clapton will celebrate a 50 year career in 2017 with four North American shows, presented by Chase. The guitar icon will perform two nights at Madison Square Garden in New York City on March 19th and 20th and two nights at the Los Angeles Forum on March 25th and 26th. Gary Clark, Jr. and Jimmie Vaughan will be the special guests. Tickets will be on sale December 3rd.

“I know I’ve been threatening retirement for the last 50 years, but I didn’t think I’d ever really want to stop,” Clapton states in the tour program for his 70th birthday tour in 2015. “I love what I do and always have done, but over the last few decades I’ve found what I was always really looking for, a loving family who love me just the way I am, which means I can relax and rest when I need to, and more and more I treasure the beauty of that.”

Clapton will be accompanied by his band members Walt Richmond, Steve Gadd, Nathan East, Chris Stainton, Sharon White and Michelle John. These are his only North American shows scheduled for 2017.

Advanced tickets for all four shows will be offered to Chase customers beginning Thursday, December 1st at noon EST via through Friday, December 2nd at 11:59 pm EST via Ticketmaster. Members of the Eric Clapton Fan Club can get exclusive pre-sale opportunities as well. General on sale begins Saturday, December 3rd at 10 am local time.
