Band is currently touring Europe

Guns N Roses has canceled its Glasgow stop tomorrow (Tues, July 5th) due to an unknown illness. The classic rockers shared the news on social media, saying they’re working on rescheduling.

“Sadly, due to illness and medical advice, GN’R will not be able to perform in Glasgow, tomorrow 5-July-2022. We are working on rescheduling options for this show so please hold onto your tickets and wait for a further update. We appreciate your understanding and patience,” they write.

There’s no specific information as to who has been affected by what illness.

The group played in The UK over the weekend where it welcomed Carrie Underwood to perform two songs on stage. Underwood, who’s been a lifelong GNR fan, performed “Sweet Child O’ Mine” and “Paradise City” on July 1st and 2nd.

The band is set to play Munich on Friday, July 8th as its European tour continues. The trek wraps July 15th before embarking onto a long-delayed South American leg in September.

They’ll follow the South American run with an also long-delayed Mexican run of four dates before heading Down Under for a stadium trek in Australia and New Zealand this November and December.

They’re set to include two stops in Japan this November at Saitama Super Arena on Saturday, November 5th and Sunday, November 6th.

Last year, the band released two new tracks since reuniting with three original members in 2016. Both are outtakes from the 2008 Chinese Democracy album. “Absurd” and “Hard Skool” were released as 7-inch vinyl, cassette and CD single with two live tracks in February 2022.
