The song is from her forthcoming new album

Multi-platinum, chart-topping, award-winning recording artist and BMG songwriter Halsey has announced her upcoming fifth studio album and unveiled the first single titled “The End.” The untitled album is expected later this year.

On her Instagram, Halsey revealed the news saying, “I’m releasing the first song off my 5th album…Before the first single comes, I wanted to share this. It means a lot to me and I love it.

“Let’s try something different this time and start at ‘The End’.

“it begins with The End. out now.”

Halsey has amassed more than 31 billion combined global streams to date, including more than 12.5 billion US streams, and sold nearly 17 million adjusted album units worldwide.

Halsey’s most recent album, If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Current Album Sales and Top Alternative Albums charts in 2021. It follows 2020’s Manic, which also entered the Top Current Album Sales chart at No. 1. Manic was the first album of 2020 to be certified platinum in the US and is now two-time platinum. 2017’s Hopeless Fountain Kingdom was recently certified two-time platinum by the RIAA.
