More than 240 thousand tickets were sold across North America & Europe

Three-time, Grammy award-winning superstar Megan Thee Stallion’s Hot Girl Summer Tour has officially sold out 13 arena stops and over 240,000 tickets since the general on-sale took place on March 22nd.

The overwhelming demand for the Hot Girl Summer Tour resulted in the addition of a second show in her hometown of Houston, bringing the run to 34 dates across North America and Europe to date. Tickets for the new June 15th date at the Toyota Center in Houston will be available for purchase beginning at noon local time today via store.megantheestallion.com.

Megan’s first-ever headlining arena tour has already sold out stops in New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Detroit, Baltimore, Chicago, Raleigh, Dallas, Austin, Houston, Tampa, Atlanta and Phoenix. Additional shows in Chicago and Atlanta for the Live Nation-produced tour were previously announced on Friday due to sellouts in those markets.

She originally announced the Hot Girl Summer Tour on March 20th and shared that Grammy-nominated artist GloRilla would serve as a special guest on all domestic stops. The tour kicks off on May 14th in Minneapolis and the US leg will wrap in Las Vegas on June 22nd. The international leg of Megan’s tour will begin in Glasgow, Scotland on July 4th and then stop in England, France, Germany, Ireland and more before wrapping on July 17th at The O2 in London. Each show on the tour will feature a special Chicas Divertidas VIP section.

The tour announcement comes after Megan’s latest song “Hiss” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in February. “Hiss” also became the first-ever, solo female rap song to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 and, as a result, Megan now owns the record for the biggest first week for a solo female rap song in history.

Megan will be speaking about bridging the intersection of music and business at AdWeek’s Social Media Week conference as the keynote speaker on April 10th. Additionally, she will be honored at Planned Parenthood’s annual gala with the organization’s Catalyst for Change Award on April 16th.
