The groups will tape CMT Crossroads ahead of the 2024 CMT Music Awards

Acclaimed rockers Needtobreathe and country hitmaker Jordan Davis will team up for a special outdoor taping of critically acclaimed franchise CMT Crossroads ahead of the 2024 CMT Music Awards, where they will also collaborate for live for a first-time performance on Sunday, April 7th from 8-11 pm ET/PT on the CBS Television Network and available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+.

The Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum Needtobreathe returns to the CMTMA stage for the first time since their mesmerizing performance of “I Wanna Remember” with Carrie Underwood in 2021.

The multi-platinum, award-winning Davis will make his CMTMA main stage debut, looking to take home his first CMT belt buckles for the heartfelt “Next Thing You Know” video, which earned him two nominations in “Male Video of the Year” and the coveted “Video of the Year” category.

CMT Crossroads: Needtobreathe + Jordan Davis will film in front of a live audience at UT Austin on Friday, April 5th, giving fans a one-of-a-kind opportunity to be a part of CMT’s longest-running music series.

Additional performers, presenters and details about the 2024 CMT Music Awards on CBS will be announced soon. Kelsea Ballerini will host and perform.

Top nominees Cody Johnson, Jelly Roll, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, and Megan Moroney split the lead with three nominations apiece.

General voting is now open at vote.cmt.com through April 1st. Voting for the highly-coveted “Video of the Year,” presented by Hilton, remains active in show.

An all-star lineup of programming featuring Hardy, Little Big Town, Nickelback, and more begins Friday, April 5th on CMT.
