Stephen Pearcy of Ratt joins the band for a Led Zeppelin classic

This weekend, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Sammy Hagar kicked-off Halloween weekend in Vegas at the first shows of his sold out Sammy Hagar & Friends residency with his rock supergroup, The Circle – featuring original Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, drummer Jason Bonham and guitarist Vic Johnson. Fans partied in a Cabo beach vibe at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod with Sammy’s Beach Bar Cocktail Co. sparkling rum cocktails, Santo Tequila and Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum.

Hagar, dressed for Halloween on Friday (Oct 29th) in a shirt covered in skulls and crossbones, delivered hit after hit, including “Finish What Ya Started,” “Right Now,” and “Mas Tequila.” Ratt vocalist Stephen Pearcy surprised the audience as he joined The Circle on stage to sing a Led Zeppelin’s “Rock and Roll” to the thundering applause. The song has become a favorite in their setlist and is played as a tribute to drummer Jason Bonham’s father, Led Zeppelin’s iconic drummer, John Bonham.

It’s been a busy fall for Hagar, who launched Sammy’s Beach Bar Cocktail Co. in late September with a history-making show – the first rooftop performance for people on the Las Vegas Strip. Made with Hagar’s award-winning Beach Bar Rum, the canned top-shelf sparkling rum cocktails are sweetened with agave and made with all natural ingredients. They come in four playful twists on classic flavors: Tangerine Dream, Island Pop, Cherry Kola Chill and Pineapple Splash. Available now in California and Nevada, Hagar is rolling out the Sammy’s Beach Bar Cocktail Co. in the Lone Star State in December with “A Toast to Texas,” where he will perform shows in Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin and Houston.

Sammy Hagar and Friends has sold out shows through the next three weekends. Each show sold out in under two hours. New dates will be announced for 2022.
