The 2022 CMT Music Awards are in the books with Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean and Cody Johnson coming out big winners. Underwood continues to her reign as the most awarded artist in CMT history with a total of 25 career wins after walking away with two trophies during last night’s (Mon, Apr 11th) CBS broadcast.
We were on the Red Carpet (or Pink Carpet in this case) during the annual festivities in Nashville. All of the stars were there, but due to rain and some lightning, we had some delays and shifts for the Red Carpet coverage. We spoke to several country newcomers who are making waves, as well as some well known celebs who were in attendance to present.
Comedian Joel McHale, CBS News anchor Gayle King, Elvie Shane, Callista Clark, Parmalee, Chapel Hart, Restless Road and many more stopped by to chat with us.
